DF-50 DIFFUSION™ HAZER
USES AND BENEFITS
The DF-50 Diffusion™ Hazer is the light and laser beam enhancer that has become a standard in the entertainment industry. Its’ remarkably conservative in fluid usage, using less than 2 ounces per hour, and has a hang time of 3+ hours in an enclosed space. It’s completely odorless, safe and CAL-OSHA tested.
The DF-50 Diffusion™ Hazer has been used in a myriad of venues including live theater, television, feature films, theme parks, cruise ships and night clubs to name a few. The following is a partial descriptive listing showing some of the applications where haze is used:
 | Inside a concert hall or theater the house lights will wash out the DF-50 haze, making it unnoticeable to arriving guests before a show. This enables the pre-conditioning of a light show until just the right moment when the house lights go down and the show lights come up. |
| In an outdoor venue wind might be considered an obstacle, but at a recent Pink Floyd Tour the wind helped to massage the DF-50 haze allowing light beams to be seen high above the top of the stadium. |
| On a film or television set, haze can be used to give a fog-like appearance on a hot, muggy or rainy evening. The DF-50’s long hang time allows for a scene’s multiple takes, without the worries of re-hazing the set to match shots. |
