MULTICAM is a 1-150 still camera array which allows for the creation of a variety of visual effects.

Using still cameras allows the user to create a:

• high-speed dolly shot,
• 'real time' talent walking through a 'slow motion' or 'time-altered' scene,
• the ability to combine a 'slow motion' world with a 'real motion' world,
• a linear or non-linear firing sequence programmable in-situ or pre-programmed,
• the ability to capture a subject from multiple points of view.

Reel EFX has been working with still camera arrays since 1996. MULTICAM is the result of those years of work. MULTICAM is an entire system that has been carefully designed not only to address the technical problems of still camera arrays, but to create a system which is quick, affordable and easy to use. Reel EFX has also developed the expertise and software necessary to provide the specialized post production necessary for still camera arrays at a reasonable cost.
