Reel EFX Digital Multicam Specifications

POST: Each individual shoot using Digital Multicam has specific needs and requirements. On most shoot days all Post procedures (stabilization and luminance correction) can be completed on set.

This depends on the complexity of the setup and the number of takes. If further stabilization is required, it can be done at the Reel EFX facility on the next business day.

If further stabilization and/or luminance correction is necessary Reel EFX will require Approximately 2 days.

Control System
Virtually unlimited, please inquire for specific frame rates, shutter speeds. Timing of the digital cameras has a 10.24 uS or ~1/100000 second resolution. The camera timing, shutter speed, and F-Stop are programmed by the master computer.

Some of the possible Frame rates:

• Max: ~100,000 frames per second.
• Min: 1 frame per day (for 135 days)
• longer run times are possible if desired, please inquire about possibilities.
• Variable frame rates are used to:
• smooth ramp in and out of a shot or speed up or slow down time
• smooth the frame rates between the multicam cameras and the motion picture camera
• Nearly any standard frame rate is possible please inquire for specifics.
